Bonjour,

       Spun Sugar Beadworks and Divinity by Spun Sugar are the creative outlet of Candida Castleberry, a local jewelry artist who got her start in the beading hobby.  A lifelong native of Dawson County, Mrs. Castleberry began the journey to the creation of Spun Sugar and Divinity by making beaded bookmarks.  Gradually, she began to learn more techniques and branched out into creating jewelry and beaded Christmas ornaments.  There, she found her calling.  

 

  For many years, she has created jewelry as a continuing hobby and refined her techniques.  She has taken classes in wire-wrapping, kumihimo, wire crochet, metalsmithing, resin, dapping, bead-weaving and polymer clay, to name a few.  The myriad of techniques that she has learned means that the catalog of items in her repertoire is varied and constantly evolving.

 

       Candida has watched Lindsay build Le Village De La Dame from the ground up, and knows that she will be very successful in this and all her endeavors.  Candida feels very honored to be featured by Le Village De La Dame. She hopes that everyone who sees her work finds joy in it, because that is the goal of everything she does.
